Goldwork and Embroidery at Home: Mr Rudolph

3. Enjoy the online class. After booking, you'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. At the time of the class, use that link to join. During the class, you can easily ask questions and get immediate responses. Zoom is free and easy to use, on any device. You're in control of your privacy - you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if and when you prefer.

In this class, you will learn the art of surface stitch and goldwork. If you want some cosy and festive indoor activities, then try this workshop.

You will learn loads of great stitching techniques, how to use embroidery thread and how to angle and position your needle. We will also cover how to embroider with metal thread, this is called goldwork. Your friendly teacher will be able to guide you through all the steps and answer any questions.

You will receive the needles and thread you need to make this special seasonal artwork. This class is best if you already have embroidery knowledge as we will be using some tricker techniques. The live online class will cover everything you need to know about goldwork, so you don't need experience in that.

This is a fun thing to make at home to get you into a seasonal spirit. Your embroidered reindeer can make a beautiful DIY Christmas decoration or a special handmade Christmas gift for a loved one.

This class can be recorded so you can re-watch it later if all participants (eight students maximum per class) agree. If you take this option as a group the class will be available for you to watch as many times as you like for six months.

You should have some sewing skills. It's not necessary for you to have goldwork experience as we'll cover this together.
