Gin Tasting at Home

This is a virtual Live/Box class! From the comfort of your home, share an artisan experience with your friends, family or colleagues, or enjoy with like-minded others. Our Live/Box classes have been featured on The Guardian, TimeOut, GQ, Daily Mirror, The Metro, and more. Here's how it works:

1. Request your preferred time
2. The Bartender (liquor license number: 1307148) will deliver a Box to you - this is a physical DIY craft kit containing the materials you'll need. Shipping is free, and you'll get your box delivered in time for your class. We ship nationwide. International shipping is also available for private groups, please enquire for pricing details. You must be 18+ years old to purchase this Box.
3. Enjoy the online class. After booking, you'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. At the time of the class, use that link to join. During the class, you can easily ask questions and get immediate responses. Zoom is free and easy to use, on any device. You're in control of your privacy - you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if and when you prefer.

We'd love for you to come on a journey with us and learn about where gin came from and why it's so popular. It's a fun thing to do at home for all spirit lovers. Let your night be-gin!

Alongside the obvious tasting of gins, we'll talk about the origins of Gin (or Jenever), how it is made, variations on the styles we enjoy today, along with how it is used in some classic cocktails. This live online class is packed with information and tasty drinks.

Each box will contain five carefully chosen gins. Don't expect your usual favourites of Hendricks, Beefeater, or Gordon's - as great as these gins are, we want you to sample some rare and complex flavours.

You won't be told what gins you'll be receiving, as we want you to learn from tasting and try and work these out with us. Don't worry, we'll give you some hints. We'll taste these neat as well as with tonics and cocktail mixes. Average RRP per gin works out as £27.50.

Unfortunately due to the nature of this alcohol tasting class, there are no mocktail variations available. Please take a look at our other classes if this is what you're after.

Please note: Public classes require a minimum number of students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform and reschedule/refund you, so please watch your email prior to the class
