What you'll do
If your child loves art and wants to practise their skills, this one-to-one private online art class is a brilliant way to give them more of what they enjoy. Hosted online by one of Lavender Leonardos' talented tutors, your child will develop their skills and confidence in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
From the natural world to famous artists, their friendly and engaging tutor will be on hand to give them handy hints and tips on all aspects of art from sketching to colouring. Whether your little one has a project in mind or wants to focus on a particular skill, these sessions are the ideal way to let kids stretch their creative muscles.
Not only will they pick up some useful art skills, but they'll have their finished projects to display with pride in the home. If they have a birthday coming up, a private art class would make a fantastic gift for any budding creator!
What to bring
You will be provided with a material list before the class starts. This list will be a mix of materials you will have at home, plus a few extra things you may need to buy. Please let us know if we need to adapt the materials list in any way before the workshop.
Suitable for
This class is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 6 years old).
Adult accompaniment is not required.

Your teacher
At Lavender Leonardos, we believe that in today's technology-driven world kids need to find escape in the hands-on methods of traditional arts and crafts. We are so lucky to have our own amazing art studio space, letting us offer our workshops all year round. We are available during the day, weekends, after school and holiday times so that everyone has the chance to come and enjoy the wonderful world of art!
We are also available for birthday parties and one-to-one tuition to help instil a love of art in your little ones. They'll learn a whole host of art skills from our talented tutors, and have a whole lot of fun whilst doing it.
Founder and director Izzy Moreau is a mixed media artist and art lecturer by training. For over twenty years she has educated children and adults in the arts, worked all over the world in TV, theatre, and as an artist in residence. Using her experience and know-how, she established the hugely successful Quirky Birds art school in Sydney, the Lavender Print Studio in London, and now her children's art studio, Lavender Leonardos!
