I found this class as I was looking for an activity to do for our 9th wedding anniversary which is a gift of pottery. The class was so much fun! We got to make 3 different pieces with time for a bonus piece! The lead teacher gave really good guidance and instructions at every step of the way. There was also an assistant teacher who was also so supportive when the main teacher was going through what to do. I liked how both were very personable, patient and hands-on with the assistance they gave going around to check each person’s progress before moving on at each stage or fixing mistakes. I say all this as a teacher myself. I would absolutely recommend this class!

A fun and educational event. I’ve never used a potters wheel and imagined I’d be good, the reality was so different and the class lead and assistant where great, giving large amounts of assistance and direction. I did make a bowl which they fire and glaze, I’m looking forward to seeing the results. Thank you.

Such a wonderful experience! We were shown a variety of techniques and both teachers were super friendly - and provided helpful guidance throughout. As a complete beginner, I found the class really accessible and enjoyable. It was such a fun activity, and the studio itself was lovely too. I would definitely recommend it!

Really fun class!
There was more people there than we expected but it added to the vibe!
It was a nice environment with people having a wine etc and a wholesome activity to do. I came with my sister but also perfect for a girls night or a cute date!
The 2 teachers were lovely, so helpful, enthusiastic and you could tell just lived what they do.

I booked this class for a work team day and we had a lot of fun! Sydney was a very good teacher and managed to help all 10 of us equally.
We learnt to make 3 items which is great and all parts were carefully led with instruction. It was a great activity to do as a team :)

What an amazing way to spend a Saturday night! Our teacher was fab and allowed the space for so much creativity. The atmosphere was light and inclusive and mistakes were part of the fun. I’ll be back again soon!

Had a great time and learnt a lot, even managed a half decent pot or two. The teachers, sorry I can't remember their names, were really helpful. Don't come in smart clothes as you're likely to get messy, even though you're wearing an apron. I highly recommend the class and a gift card is a great idea for a present.

Teachers were brilliant. Great experience overall. Would definitely recommend for a date... I understand why that scene is Ghost is so iconic now... make sure you wear clothes you can get a bit of splatter on! Would highly recommend, and will be booking it again!

It was our friend group outing.
We learnt how to make base shape from which you can make a variety of different things. We also learnt how to make a candle holder. Some techniques on how to use the clay.
The teachers of the class were very helpful, and also chill. The atmosphere was relaxed. What i liked the most is the fact that we were able to keep trying with mew clay no matter how many errors and it was a structured class. And the teachers were readily available to help

Myself and two friends come to the house of pottery for a 30th birthday and had a fab day! It was so much fun and the lady who run the class was lovely, very knowledgeable and helped us when we needed! It was lovely and chilled afternoon topped off with being able to bring your own booze (albeit very messy to navigate once you were in the thick of it). Thank you, we will 100% reccomend this place!

This was a birthday present and such a lovely way to spend the morning. It's such a friendly way to try pottery for the first time, you don't need to nail the technique to walk away with something you're rather proud of.
I learned the basics of centring, pulling up walls and shaping on the wheel, though I definitely still have a way to go with keeping things even. By the end I had 3 pieces to show for it, a bit wobbly but each one different, with its own charm.
The teachers were clear and welcoming, they demoed each technique before letting us have a go ourselves and came round to help whenever we got a bit stuck.
The studio had a really relaxed, focused atmosphere, everyone quietly getting on with their own piece but happy to laugh together when clay went flying.
What I liked most was realising you don't need to be good at it straight away to enjoy the process and end up with something you're happy with.

This class was brilliant, I’d highly recommend it. Lewis and Choi were great (and very patient!) teachers and we all ended up with something that resembled a pot! The two hours flew by and it was great fun.
