I had the best time at House Pottery and would highly recommend the Wheel Throwing Pottery Class! During the two hour workshop the instructors guided us through how to make a pot, bowl and vase before we had free time to make our own creation. The team were so helpful and patient and made wheel throwing pottery accessible to beginners!

This was a gift from our son and we had a great time. The two teachers were excellent, explaining and demonstrating clearly, and helped the whole group when necessary. We all made 3 different items on the wheel and then a piece on our own. There was a friendly, happy atmosphere and the whole group was lovely. BYOB was great - a really lovely evening and we can’t wait to see the finished pots.

With a big birthday approaching, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than spending quality time with my girls, getting creative and having lots of laughs along the way!
We had such a lovely time making our own pottery masterpieces, each creating something unique to take home as a special keepsake. It was a fun, relaxing and memorable experience, and the perfect way to make more beautiful memories together.
Something to treasure for years to come, reminding us of a fantastic day spent together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and meaningful experience with friends and family!

This was a great pottery taster session! The time flew by. The teacher was friendly, clear and helpful. The class size was big enough for you to try the techniques without feeling watched constantly but small enough to get help when you needed it. There was plenty of clay so it was ok to make a mistake and try again. I highly recommend the class!

The teachers were very patient and understanding. There was a quick demo and then it was straight into making, 2 guided pieces and then one free form at the end. Was great fun and very satisfying to make something - only thing I’d mention is it wasn’t clear that the pieces weren’t included in the price but still well worth the visit!

We booked this as a staff bonding activity and it was great fun. The demo was very clear and the teacher was very patient. We booked a private class and enjoyed keeping an eye on everyone's creations and encouraging each other on a good bowl or candlestick holder. We ordered dozens of pieces to be fired at the end and the process was very smooth as well. Highly recommend it! C:

This was our delayed birthday celebration with a friend from August. It was fun although we wouldn’t make the grade as potters. The instructor was very knowledgeable also very patient helping us when we made mistakes. We took a bottle of Prosecco but there wasn’t a break so we didn’t drink it. You couldn’t drink whilst making things as you need to keep going and your hands are mucky.
If you want a beginners experience at pottery then this is a good class to go to.
