What you'll do
Join us for a crafty night of laughs, printing Galentine’s cards, and making your own sweet wall hanging. In this workshop, you will be guided by two artists through both processes of printmaking and ceramics.Part one of the workshop will involve choosing your love heart sweet design and transferring it to your lino block. You will then be shown how to carve, ink, and print your block to create a gorgeous hand-printed card. This part is guided by Georgia Watkins, an experienced printmaker.During part two, you will use your love heart lino block to impress into the clay surface, creating a wall hanging. You will then bring your pieces to life with coloured slips and underglazes! This section is guided by Amanda Silk, an experienced ceramicist.Ceramic pieces will be taken away to be fired and will be ready for you to collect after 3 weeks. Cards are ready to take home on the day.All materials and equipment are provided, just bring your creativity!
