Lovely relaxing day retreat spent creating a Sari fabric journal under Harsha's expert guidance. Abbey Grange is such a perfect venue and we were fortunate to be able to craft outside in the the shade of a parasol. All thoughfully organised by Harsha. There was an extensive lunch menu and it was delicious. Visiting the craft/gift shop is also a must. Highly recommend the day

Parabolic stitching is very relaxing to do. It’s quite easy to learn but the final result is very pretty and eye-catching. The choice of cards to do the stitching on was really lovely, with a selection of both flowers and insects.

We learn how to make front and back covers and buying these to a paper signature to create a book. We will be looked after and I’m really pleased with the book I’ve made.

I learnt macrame knots. My teacher was very kind and helpful. My teacher was also very patient as I made a few mistakes at the beginning, but managed to get the hang of it by the end. The materials were very good. The venue was nice and warm and in a beautiful setting.

Great course!
Decorated a pencil case (there was also a bag option).
Never tried block printing before but really happy with what I did.
Plenty of time to practice first and good selection of colours and block stamps to choose from.
As usual Harsha and Wayne were very welcoming.
Harsha took us through the block printing process and gave us useful tips.
Didn’t think we would have enough time but actually it was just about right time wise.
