What you'll do
Looking to level up your floristry skills or dive straight in as a beginner? Taking place at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens, this floristry class in Birmingham will give you the opportunity to create floral designs using not only sustainable techniques but also the most beautiful British blooms the season has to offer!
Following coffee and pastries, your teacher will begin by discussing with you the mechanics behind a variety of foam-free installations and how these can work within your own designs.
Working as a team and in small groups, you will then create a free-standing design around the stunning Music Room within the Walled Gardens before then breaking for lunch and a leisurely wander around the gardens.
The afternoon will see you constructing and styling second design of either a tablescape or cascading installation within the Music Room itself, creating a magical setting for not only a wedding breakfast but for any special occasion!
Please note:
- Places for this workshop will be limited to 10 students.
- Floral designs will remain in situ at the venue.

Amber Jean Flowers is a run by Claire Bond a qualified florist and tutor based in Birmingham. Claire has almost 30 years experience in the flower industry working for several prestigious florist during her early career.
The past ten years has been spent teaching, a passion that has enabled her to share her wealth of knowledge and skills.
Amber Jean Flowers was established during her teaching career in 2014 to enable the delivery of more bespoke courses and workshops.
More recently Claire has embarked into the world of flower farming thus enabling her to use seasonal sustainable British flowers within her workshops and floral commissions.
