Creativity has always been a part of my everyday life. Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved expressing myself through art and design. Whether it’s painting, writing, decorating my home, cooking beautiful meals or setting a table for guests, I find joy in bringing creativity into the little moments of life.
My journey with painting started when I was around 10 years old. I was deeply inspired by my aunt, who is a traditional Mysore painting artist. Watching her work with patience and detail sparked my curiosity, and naturally I began exploring painting myself. Over the years, art became my way to relax, reflect and express emotions through colours and water on paper. There’s something incredibly calming about watching colours flow and transform a blank sheet into something meaningful.
Teaching art is something I truly enjoy because it allows me to share that joy with others. I believe creativity is for everyone, and seeing someone discover their artistic side is incredibly rewarding. My patience and calm nature help create a relaxed, welcoming environment where people feel comfortable exploring their creativity.
Friends and family often describe me as the “zen” person in the group. I love hosting and creating cozy experiences where people can unwind, connect and feel at home. When people visit my home, they often say it feels warm, relaxing and full of positive energy — usually accompanied by delicious home-cooked Indian food!
During my college years, I also ran summer art courses for children in my home country, which gave me the opportunity to nurture creativity in young minds and build my love for teaching.
Through my workshops, I hope to create a space where people can slow down, relax and enjoy the simple joy of painting — no pressure, just creativity, colour and good company.
