Paint and Sip Class - Central Welwyn Garden
Had a really great painting evening with 5 friends. Never done anything like this before, but hopefully will do it again.Thought I would be rubbish and my painting did look a bit wobbly at first but the end result was stunning. All down to the patience and expertise of the teacher in guiding us through each layer of artistry. None of my family believe I did it!

This was a great first session for me at Brush Party! The atmosphere was relaxed and even though I was late, the teacher helped me get up to speed with the rest of the group. It was easy to follow the steps and I am really pleased with the outcome of what I produced and I’m looking forward to the next event!

Our host was Bea and as always was very patient. She went through each stage carefully and was happy to help with any issues with colour mixing etc.She had useful tips on how to use the three different sized brushes and was able to give advice in the break if we needed it.The venue was nice as well as the bar staff who were on hand to bring any orders of food/drink at any time.

* love any type of craft. Painting is not my forte so need to learn more.* Gave 5 stars but the space was very uncomfortable, 18 people in such a space is not cramped. * Highly recommend that attendees order food and drink as soon as they arrive or better still get there earlier as table space is at a premium so not very practical. A 15 minute break is not long enough to order any drinks and/or food which you are encouraged to do. * Bea is lovely.

Bea is an amazing teacher I could never imagine that I would effortlessly paint the picture considering the fact that I haven’t painted since ages now! This session was painting the peacock and I initially thought I wouldn’t be able to do it but Bea is such a great teacher that she made it easy! The atmosphere was really chilled and we had some laughs too (that could be down to the wine!). Very well organised. Will definitely be booking another class with her soon.

Was given a gift card for Brush party. Had a great evening with a friend and then all the others around us. Lovely being walked step by step through what and how to do. I like arty things but not confident on just doing myself. Tutor was fab helping where needed, good bit of humour too. Amazing to see all of the paintings at the end of the evening, all the same but all different. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely do some more.

This is the second time I have been to one of these art sessions. I find them fun and relaxing and just very different from anything I would normally do. I am terrible at painting but actually they all look quite good in the end but also varied as you get clear instructions about what to do. These are really fun for a catch up with friends.

Bea has Patience of a saint and show a you how at to do things at a great pace. I have thoroughly enjoyed both classes that I have attended and I will continue to attend more in the future and hopefully improve my skills further to such an enjoyable evening meeting new people everybody’s friendly and it helps clear the mind of the working day that you’ve just had perfect for me!
