Paint and Sip Class - Borehamwood

I go on my own as I have developed a love for painting since I did my first Elephant with Bea at Granero Lonunge Ruislip.

This was my 3rd session and as always Bea was great with her instructions and guided us through the session. Everyone left with a painting that looked fantastic.

I learnt a lot about how to build a painting and my 5 year old grandson has had a go. Pic attached.

Second time going to the borehamwood paint and sip hosted by Bex, I completely switch off when painting all I can think about is the task for 3 hours I find it very therapeutic. Highly recommend Bex has patience of a saint.

Took my mum for her 84th birthday, she really enjoyed it, something anyone can do at any age and was really good fun, also lovely be able to take your painting home as a memento of the evening.

I’ve never painted before, well not since school 50+ years ago!

Although I loved the idea of the ‘Highland Coo’ I really didn’t think I could produce anything.

But the teacher was so encouraging and it was so easy to follow the instructions and paint along.

Even though I went in my own, everybody was welcoming and everybody was talking and comparing notes on how we were all coping.

It was really a relaxed evening and although I arrived nervous I soon relaxed into the atmosphere.

It was a great venue, a great evening and I will be coming back to have another go.

A group of us went to the Sunflower Avenue painting class and we all absolutely loved it! Bea was amazing really knowledgeable and helpful, with a great sense of humour that made the whole class feel really enjoyable and relaxed. We learnt so much without it ever feeling too serious or intimidating.

I was genuinely so impressed with what I managed to create by the end of the class! I couldn’t recommend Bea and her classes enough. Such a fun way to spend a few hours and we’ll definitely be back for another one very soon!

I attended a BrushParty with Bea. As always Bea was very welcoming and friendly. The subject Klimt’s Cat was more tricky than some so have completed but Bea took us through the various stages in a clear and informative manner and had time to monitor our progress and make suggestions where needed for us to improve. I would highly recommend attending one of Bea’s sessions

I brought the voucher for my sister in laws birthday. Right from the start there was a really friendly atmosphere and our teacher made us very welcome. She explained things very clearly and I learnt the different techniques of using different brushes and mixing paints. I came away with a painting that I thought I would never be able to do.

Had a really great painting evening with 5 friends. Never done anything like this before, but hopefully will do it again.

Thought I would be rubbish and my painting did look a bit wobbly at first but the end result was stunning. All down to the patience and expertise of the teacher in guiding us through each layer of artistry. None of my family believe I did it!

Our host was Bea and as always was very patient. She went through each stage carefully and was happy to help with any issues with colour mixing etc.

She had useful tips on how to use the three different sized brushes and was able to give advice in the break if we needed it.

The venue was nice as well as the bar staff who were on hand to bring any orders of food/drink at any time.
