What you'll do

Come join your host, mosaicist Audrey, at the fab Arty Farty Studio near Potten End, Herts for a day of mosaic making loveliness! Audrey will support you in designing and creating your very own unique mosaic design for your home or garden.

You will learn how to create a successful design, snip and place your tiles onto your pot using an external glue that will be dry and ready to be grouted at home. All materials will be provided and should you not complete your tile work on the day you'll be given all necessary materials to take home with you and I'll be on hand to support you to complete.

A demonstration on how to grout during the session will be given and you'll be given grout and step by step instructions to take away with you at the end of the day.

So come on your own, with a friend or family and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming day of crafting. Suitable for complete beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making. The workshop is usually attended by adults but is open to children who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 11 years+).

Note: The terracotta pot size is 23cm.

I'm Audrey and I run Montet Designs. I have been creating, making, mentoring and teaching visual art with communities for the past 20 years. As a community artist, working with people is my true passion! I've worked with so many fabulous organisations, schools, charities and community groups creating wonderful small and large scale projects.

In the last 14 years have focused my teaching on mosaic art. I'm super passionate about bringing this art form to as many people as possible! It's relaxing, meditative and accessible to everyone, no matter your age or ability. It's great for teams, colleagues, families and friends and I promise you that even if you think you're not creative, you'll definitely finish my courses with something you'll be proud to show off.
