In this class, you'll embark on a guided journey of the popular tea desserts of 10th-century China and learn to make one type of authentic tea snacks yourself. It is regarded as advanced mochi. If you already learnt making basic mochi, this is the class for you.
Friendly chefs Hanna and Simon will provide step-by-step guidance and answer any questions you may have as you learn to make flavourful Chinese dessert recipes to pair with tea in a spacious kitchen with air conditioner.
At the end of this dessert making class in London, you'll have a selection of beautiful, authentic tea snacks to enjoy or give as handmade gifts to your family and friends!

Learn to prepare the pastry.

Your teacher can travel to host this class at a venue of your choice or client site. Please enquire about this when booking.

Refund and Reschedule
Please book the date you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings.
There is no refund for cancellation.
Later than 15 minutes to agreed time will see booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.

A person under 18 cannot attend the class alone. We will ask for valid IDs if you look very young. You class will be cancelled without refund if failed to provide proofs. We are a wife-and-husband team running a small shop called Oriental Food in North London.
We started offer cooking classes to commercial clients since 2012. Then it is soon became very popular in general public as well.
Currently we have more than 20 different cooking classes focus on authentic and traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Also have more than 5 different tasting sessions. The sessions let customers explore the traditional style of dishes before deciding which class to learn.

We had a very nice time with Hanna and Simon.
The desserts we learned are very special and unique. We never had them before. Therefore we don't have any idea what to do. Hanna is very patient to guide us step by step.
We made a lot at the end and they are very delicious.
Definitely will come back for other classes.
