Entirely beginner-friendly, this calligraphy workshop is a great place to begin to learn how to write in calligraphy lettering.
Guided by an expert tutor in a fun and friendly workshop environment, you'll gain an introduction to brush lettering, creating some festive projects to take away with you. You'll be taught about the tools you need and through demonstrations and hands-on practice, you'll pick up a range of tips for mastering this style of lettering. You'll learn a series of basic strokes, how to write the alphabet in calligraphy and finally, you'll connect your lettering into words.

I’m Jane and I am 100% passionate about crafting – you name it, I have most probably tried it. I set up Tea and Crafting, a bricks and mortar workshop venue in Covent Garden, in 2009, as I wanted to share my love of all things crafty and show people how, that a lot of these crafts are easier to learn than you think, without the need to commit to a six-week course that can be difficult to fit into a busy lifestyle. I wanted to provide affordable classes that were effortless and fun to attend.
I believe that anyone and everyone can craft and that you don't need to be exceptional at a craft for it to have enormous positive effects on well being. Alongside a team of expert crafters I am proud to still be passing on these crafty skills 12 years later!

Great calligraphy workshop with Charlotte today! Her demonstrations were easy to follow and she was very friendly and approachable. The workbook she provided was lovely and included a guide to the alphabet and Christmassy words. There was plenty of time to practice and receive personal guidance when needed. Lots of items included - pens, paper, cards and crackers, all in a handwritten personalised bag.
The communication beforehand by ClassBento was great and
the workshop was a lovely bright space in a convenient location. I would recommend this workshop.
