Chocolate Making, Tempering and Tasting Experience

Learn how to make your own chocolate truffles, temper chocolate and craft your own chocolate bars in this indulgent live online chocolate class.

This class is full of chocolatey goodness and your expert teacher will show you just how diverse chocolatiering truly is.

You’ll start by getting stuck into creating your own hand-rolled chocolate truffles with a rich ganache. With the dedicated tuition of head chocolatier, Ellie, you'll soon get into the swing of chocolate making with some messy (and very delicious) fun.

Once you’re waiting for your ganache to set, it’s time for chocolate tasting! You'll open up your lovingly packed chocolate craft box and you'll be talked through cocoa production and the different flavour notes and varying textures from seven of Studio Chocolate's range of single origins. That means you get to taste seven different types of chocolate! Delicious!

Next, you’ll move on to tempering and make your own professional chocolate bars. You’ll get chocolate bar moulds and a tempering thermometer to keep as part of your craft box, so once you've been taught how to use them, you can spoil your friends and family with your chocolate making skills in the future.

When your indulgent ganache has cooled, you'll learn how to hand-roll your truffles and box them up beautifully. All the packaging you'll need to wrap up your chocolate creations is provided and once packed, your goodies will make beautiful gifts - that's if you don't eat them first!

This chocolate making class is nut-free and gluten-free. It can be easily adapted to be
vegan/dairy-free - just let us know your requirements at check-out.

If you haven't made chocolate before - don't worry! This online chocolate class is designed for beginners and you'll be supported every step of the way through your chocolatey journey by your friendly teacher.

• Metal/glass bowl.
• A small pan to put your bowl on (for a bain-marie).
• Spatula and spoon.
• Small tray or dish.
• Access to a freezer and a stovetop/hob.
