Casting is such an exciting process. Explore all 3 materials or focus on one or two, you choose.
Eco resins allow you to produce opaque, stone-like designs that can be demoulded in 15-30 minutes. Because it is such an immediate process, you can explore lots of different moulds and techniques during the workshop. Eco resin is very versatile, allowing you to use a variety of colours, styles, and finishes.
Concrete casting is such a fun technique, allowing you to work in an affordable material to cast anything from jewellery to plant pots. The excitement doesn't end there; after leaving your concrete to go off over a couple of days, you can demould your casting to reveal your fab design, definitely worth the wait! Don't forget you'll need to take your designs home, so make sure you have space in your vehicle! (If you come by public transport, it's probably best to work small!)
Casting Pewter involves making and using moulds, melting and pouring the pewter, finishing and polishing your design, and turning it into jewellery or small treasures.
With expert tuition, this workshop is suitable for anyone. You will leave with a wide variety of pieces with different techniques, finishes, and styles.
Once you've had the whole day to explore this accessible process, you are just a couple of bits of kit away from setting up at home.
All courses, workshops, and kits come with free support afterwards. Email me or arrange a video call. I love to see what my students and fellow crafters are up to and really enjoy answering questions or helping if I can. So any booking isn’t just for the day; it’s the start of a crafting friendship!

I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
