What to expect at this candle making class in Newcastle
You and your group will be welcomed to your candle making workshop by your friendly and experienced candle making teacher, who will introduce you to the craft and show you how to work the tools and ingredients you’ll need to make your candle.
Following some deft demonstrations, you’ll be able to select a glass container to house your candle, along with any natural scents or adornments that you’d like to add. You’ll then follow a step by step process, melting and hand pouring your wax into your container, fixing your wick in place and watching your candle set.
Once your candle has formed and cooled, it’ll be ready to take away with you. You’ll go away with lots of knowledge about the best ingredients, materials and tools to use for future candle making, and you’ll be able to look forward to lighting your lovely candle at home and feeling proud of your new skills.
