If you've been looking for a way to get a head start in butchery, or just want to bring your cooking skills to the next level, this three-day course is sure to tick all your boxes.

Working alongside Edinburgh School of Food & Wine's master butcher, you'll learn all aspects of working with meat, from selecting the best cuts for a dish to working with whole carcasses. You'll also pick up some nifty new knife skills, including how to keep your knives in tip-top condition to make working with tougher cuts a breeze.

Whether you're an avid home cook or an aspiring professional, this course is designed to enhance not just your skills, but your understanding of food. By learning about ingredients on a deeper level, you'll be able to adapt recipes to your tastes with ease, as well as creating your own from scratch — dull mealtimes will be a thing of the past!

We cover a wide range of courses, covering every age and ability. Some of our most popular courses include professional chef training, leisure classes, kids' cooking classes, gin tastings, sushi nights and many more! Our classes are fun and informative, with the majority always hands-on for all students.

I recently had the pleasure of attending Class Bento Butchery Course's class on butchery skills, and I can confidently say it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations.
