What you'll do
Learn how to make lettering art in this hands-on workshop that will have you mastering the brush and the watercolour paints.
To kickstart this brush lettering class, your friendly teacher Georgie will cover some of the basics of this art form and the different supplies and materials that can be used. You will then be gently guided through the process of letter composition until you can create a whole word with exciting flourishes.
You will then learn about spacing and perfecting your composition, bringing everything you have learned together to create a personal piece of art using a lettering pen. You'll then have a stunning finished piece to be proud of. Hang it on a wall, pop it on your desk, or give it to a loved one as a unique gift.
Brush lettering is a very mindful and relaxing craft, and this workshop is a great stepping stone for you to pick up a hobby. And when there are bottomless teas, coffees and cakes in the mix as well, you can be sure this is a great way to spend a few hours away from mundane life.
