What you'll do
Join us at The Modern Calligraphy Co. and learn how to create beautiful lettering art in this relaxed and informal class. You'll get plenty of guidance from your teacher Through demonstrations and one-on-one tuition.
With lettering that is dynamic and energetic, modern calligraphy doesn't worry about making everything identical. Relax and have fun with the pens, create your own style and enjoy the process at this taster workshop.
There are lots of different ways of creating beautiful modern calligraphy, and sometimes knowing where to start can be tricky! Don't worry if you don't know how to write in calligraphy, you'll get plenty of tips and tricks along the way.
During this six-hour class, you will try pointed nib and brush lettering using a range of types and colours so you can find your favourite form of creative lettering. You will learn how to create letter forms using colour, metallics and designing layouts. Work on beautiful templates and create finished pieces that you can frame and keep for yourself or give as charming unique gifts!
By the end of this informative workshop, you will leave with loads of calligraphy techniques in your repertoire.
