What you'll do

Master the art of working with a loom and you’ll be able to make the most of your leftover yarn! For this project, you’ll have beautiful yarns included in your craft kit, ready to weave a gorgeous, textured wall hanging that’ll brighten up your home or make the perfect gift.

The weaving workshop is perfect for beginners, providing a simple step-by-step project that everyone will enjoy – and if you’re more experienced, it’s sure to give you creative inspiration! You’ll be shown every part of the process, from warping up your loom and starting a basic weave to creating tassels and eventually releasing your weave from the loom.

The Hobbycraft Artisan will guide you through each step of the project, answering any questions and sharing tips and tricks. Enjoy mastering the techniques and making something completely unique.

You’ll be left with a beautiful wall hanging that’s ready to put on display, plus you’ll have the skills to make even more using your own yarn stash.

When we arrived the store hadn't been informed we were attending the class that day - it just happened that the person who runs the class was working that day. The guys sorted out all the materials for us which was great and we got to do the class.

Our tutor, Louie, was great though. Very friendly and patient.

Great class today and Aileen the instructor was very knowledgable and helpful. The kit had everything needed for the beginners project and definately enjoyed the experience. The class could be a bit longer so that you can do all the techniques because if you dont know anything about the topic it can take a while to fully grasp them.
