Led by our talented Chef Manager, Joe Parke, you'll embark on a culinary journey that showcases the best of seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients.
In this activity, you'll feast on a tapestry of flavours carefully crafted in our zero waste kitchen. We pride ourselves on using only naturally reared, slow-grown, grass-fed, free-range, native breed meats, ensuring the highest quality and ethically sourced ingredients. Our vegetables and potatoes are sourced directly from Ragman's Lane Farm, offering you the freshest, locally grown produce. And to ignite the fire, we use British single variety lumpwood charcoal and air-dried hardwood logs from John at Birchwood Forestry.
Not only do we cater to meat lovers, but we also provide delicious options for vegans and vegetarians too. You won't want to miss this culinary feast, as it promises to tantalise your taste buds and introduce you to new and exciting flavours.
To complement your meal, our licensed bar will be fully stocked with a variety of local beers, lagers, ciders, gins, spirits, and soft drinks. You'll have the perfect beverage to enhance your dining experience.

Harts Barn Cookery School is all about cooking for all – all ages and skill levels are catered for, and we teach everything from banquets to basics!
We provide a huge range of regular classes, workshops, supper clubs and events plus we welcome group bookings, parties, corporate and private hire. All classes offer a hands-on element and focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as being enjoyable!
We view cooking as an essential life skill. Our ethos of ‘cooking for all’ means that we offer classes that are accessible, practical, affordable, give confidence and are lots of fun. We believe in the ‘socialisation’ of food, bringing people together whether they are learning a new skill in the kitchen or sitting down and enjoying the soiree! As well as cookery classes we run regular events, pop up restaurants, a Hire-A-Chef service, and provide parties, corporate packages, chef demos and have a wonderful earth oven, fire pit and large courtyard area for outdoor cooking experiences.
