Introducing our Artisan Soap Making workshops!
In a small group of up to 6, you'll learn about essential oils and scent building. You'll be introduced to an all-vegan, sustainable, and cosmetics-tested recipe you can use and reuse at home. You'll make a full 1kg loaf which will be cut into 15-16 bars of soap. These will be taken away to cure and label with your custom scent name or the name of the people you'll be gifting them to! Our labels are plantable seeded paper, so they'll even sow wildflowers in the spring to help support the bees!
Perfect as gifts, stocking fillers, and suitable for everyone, these soap bars are a delight to give over the festive season.
The cold-process method is often considered the most difficult to master but yields the most benefits for the skin and remains the best option for an environmentally friendly soap bar. And fear not, our beginner-friendly recipe will make your first attempt at cold process a success!
The workshops start with a tour of our essential oils, their benefits, and the key knowledge to aromatherapy blends as well as scent building. You'll then get to blend your own scent, based on the smells you like or the aromatherapy benefits you're after.
We'll then move on to the exciting part - the soap making!
Combining our sustainable oils with our pure essential oils for scent and botanical-derived colorants, you'll make your base. You'll then learn how to combine this with lye, how to reach and identify 'trace', and when to pour your batch into your moulds.
These will cure for 24 hours before we'll unmould, cut and stamp them. We'll then store them for 4 weeks to cure fully. They'll be labelled with your blend name or the name of your recipients for custom birthday and Christmas presents. You can collect them when they're ready or have them posted to you.
Workshops include free refreshments!
We'll provide all the ingredients, you'll also get a chance to buy hugely discounted products, and we'll gift you a code for future workshops and online purchases.
