I set up my workshop in 2019 following training at the internationally renowned Waters & Acland furniture school in the Lake District. I specialise in bespoke furniture commissions using British hardwood sourced from sustainably managed woodlands and independent saw mills.

Through the use of storytelling, a robust design philosophy, and an appreciation of the Everyday: I aim to create beautiful, functional, and heirloom-quality pieces that are designed to last and to be loved. My practice is focused on weaving in the personal details of my client’s briefs with unexpected and exciting visual influences, creating furniture that celebrates handwork, traditional solid timber construction, and functional, contemporary design.

In 2025 I established Good Yard Studio, a shared studio space in Stockport with an emphasis on collaborative work, contemporary design and improving access to learning traditional crafts in the city.

My work has been featured in World of Interiors, Living Etc and Country Living magazines.
