Brilliant class! We did the taster ring class and we enjoyed it so much, Allison is a great teacher and she walked us through all the processes step by step with a lot of info and history on the techniques and materials. We got to choose our strips of metal we wanted to work with, use lots of fun machines and techniques amongst lovely conversations, 100% recommend!

Private Jewellery Making Class - Full Day
I had such a lovely day making a ring with my teacher, Alison! I was welcomed into the studio and offered tea/coffee and then we set to work. Alison had the day so well planned and clearly has years of expertise. Alison led me step by step, giving clear instructions and guidance without rushing which resulted in me going home proudly wearing the ring I had madefrom start to finish! I can’t recommend Alison highly enough she is a lovely lady with excellent teaching skills.I received my gift card from my family for my 60th birthday. I wouldn’t say the website makes it easy to redeem a gift card but the customer service was top notch and soon had me booked into the class I wanted.

Alison is a fantastic teacher. She shows you all the techniques you need to make the rings by yourself and gives you many options to personalise so that you end up with something really bespoke and to your own individual taste. I had a wonderful time and would recommend for anyone looking for something creative and some time out from the day to day. It was a birthday gift from some friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great teacher. Spent time with us as a group then with each of us as individuals. Taught us the details should you choose to do this as a profession, although strongly advising more time needed to spend learning. Alison is very kind and supportive. I would book another course with Alison.

12 out of 10 – absolutely loved it!I did this stacking rings class with my daughter (16) and it was amazing! We made three stacking rings each using different styles and techniques.Alison, the teacher, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. She made everything easy to understand, guided us when needed, created such a welcoming atmosphere and gave us the flexibility to make our rings exactly how we wanted them.Beyond learning a new skill, this class gave us special mother-daughter memories that we’ll treasure, and we left with rings that look so professional, like rings we would have bought from a shop! A creative, fun and memorable experience — we can’t recommend it enough!

Alison was knowledgable, interesting, patient and informative. She really knows her trade well and it was a joy to learn with her. Alison encouraged us to use our imagination but was there every step of the way when we had questions or difficulties. We chose to learn how to make textured single silver rings which exceeded our expectations. We most like the relaxed atmosphere, Alison’s humour and gentle approach which made our afternoon fun and rewarding.

I went with my partner on today and had an absolutely lovely time with Alison. She really made my birthday a special one, and was warm and encouraging while letting us learn by doing. She taught us so many practical skills, and we learned by making rings alongside her so we had seen it done before we did it ourselves. By the end of the session we each had three beautiful silver rings, hand soldered (carefully!) in different styles (which we chose). We really appreciated the hands-on approach Alison uses, and feel like we learned enough to be able to make our own rings if we ever get a work shed one day. Thank you, Alison! You were a star and we love our rings.

Allison was a fantastic teacher who made sure the experience of making our wedding bands was as personal as possible. We had a pre-lesson appointment to discuss what we wanted for our rings and she helped us figure out metals, designs and sizes. On the day itself Allison was really good with us making sure we understood each step of the process and helped us along the way. Thank you so much for the excellent class. Fantastic session today. I booked it for my sister’s birthday so we could make matching rings. Alison was so welcoming and helpful (and made lovely cup of tea when we got there). She’s extremely knowledgable but breaks the process down into bite size chunks as you go along so you understand what you’re doing much better. She got just the right balance of letting you do it yourself and leant in when we needed help too. Thank you so much, we had a fab time and will certainly be back at Christmas for the open studio! Stacking Silver Bangle Making Workshop
Absolutely loved this workshop, I made three beautiful silver bangles and learnt to so much. Alison is a fantastic and very experienced teacher who explains each step of the process in detail and then guides while you make your own bangles. She intuitively knew what kind of design I would like and generously shares her knowledge and time. I had never done jewellery making and this was class was fine for a complete beginner and would also be a good one to do if you had done the ring class. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend this class. Alison was excellent. Everything really well explained. Relaxed and friendly and unrushed. A privilege to make a silver ring in a real working studio with a talented and passionate jewellery maker. The rings are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Alison is such a lovely, kind, patient and warm instructor. You can tell that she loves her craft and her passion for jewellry making shines through in the way she teaches.
