Incredibly beginner friendly, great teaching, warm atmosphere and get to keep your work

Anna de Freitas Jun 2026

I was feeling a little creatively stunted, so thought I'd try my hand at a new craft! The Something Good team were so welcoming and Emily, the Workshop Facilitator, explained everything so clearly. This was a beginner class in Lino Block Printing and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Trying new things can be intimidating at times. This workshop was the opposite of that, and we were encouraged to find the beauty in our beginner mistakes.
I loved it, and had a great time!

Helen St Luce Jun 2026

It was really great. Jess and Emily are super welcoming, encouraging and supportive.
They give great feedback and have everything thing you could possibly need. Collage evenings are wonderful. I've started inviting friends to meet at them - way better than the pub & better cocktails

I organised a weaving birthday party for my 11 year old daughter and her friends. Jess and Emily were amazing. The weaving class was so fun and kept the girls entertained and busy for hours. Everyone left with the weaving they made, a nice momento of the day. The studio is a lovely calm space with everything you could need to be creative. Jess and Emily were the best hosts, giving lots of advice and tips. If you are thinking of doing something creative I would definitely recommend going to do any of the workshops on offer here. Don't hesitate, you will be glad you did. The disco toilet is a must visit! Thank you Jess and Emily for a great birthday workshop.

I decided to do it while I was travelling to London. It was amazing! The teacher was super gracious and helped us with our designs. I would definitely do it again next time I am in the city.

Elpida Giannakou Jun 2026

I really enjoyed the workshop because considering it was only for 3 hours, in the end we managed to do a lot.. Apart from the sketches i managed to do carve 2 small linos, which surprised me as i had never done lino carving before. I also had time to print both of them with different colours. The teacher was really kind and the intro she gave us was very helpful and to the point. It was nice to experiment and not have too many expectations fromthe result as i feel everyone was there to try out, which made me feel comfortable..

Daniel Thomas May 2026

My friend and I have made something of a habit of trying craft workshops together, and this one sits right at the top of the list. Jess was an absolutely brilliant teacher -- warm, encouraging, and completely unfazed when we decided we wanted to go off-piste and attempt peonies rather than stick to the original plan. She just rolled with it, helped us figure it out, and we were better for it.
The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a Sunday afternoon -- relaxed and sociable. The kind of place where you can chat, laugh, make a few mistakes, and still walk away with something you're genuinely proud of -- which we did.
If you're looking for a lovely way to spend a few hours, especially with a friend who's equally enthusiastic about getting crafty, Something Good always delivers. Already thinking about what to book next.
