I learnt a lot about matcha like it originally been sourced in china, I wasn’t aware you couldn’t touch the bottom of the matcha bowl. Learnt how to make the matcha more frothy. We did the class for a friend's birthday. We had a great time, learnt about matcha, did our own matcha late with correct techniques, and had a good time making our own matcha bowl. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, loved that at no stage we were rushed.

Great experience. 10/10 value for money: for the first hour you do the matcha tasting and you can actually try different type of matcha and choose your favourite. The class, firstly, gives you an insightful and enriching history of matcha and how it is grown. Then educational lesson into tasting 3 different matcha, each different quality and uses. Finally they give us clay to mold into our own chawan, as well as paint to colour. Overall, a great experience and even better teachers.
