Knowledge required
Suitable for complete beginners and those returning to sewing who need a refresher.If you've never used a sewing machine before or would like a refresher, please add the option to arrive 30 minutes before the first class for an introduction to using the machines!
What you'll get
- A selection of patterns to choose from, or you may wish to bring your own.
- Paper and tools for copying out patterns.
- Use of the studio's sewing machines & overlockers
- Use of equiptment and a selection of habedashery to carry out your projects.
What to bring
- If you have an idea of a garment you would like to make, bring a pattern for this but I will also have a selection of patterns to choose from!
- If you already have a fabric in mind for making a garment, you can also bring this along (make sure to pre-wash it first)! However we also will chat through what fabrics may be good options in week 1.
