I loved it! Fanny creates a wonderful environment for creating, and I was amazed at how much I discovered about myself vis à vis painting in such a short time with the right guidance! Absolutely worth it!!

Today I did my first abstract workshop and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our teacher Fanny was so helpful and gave us great tips. I honestly felt light leaving and excited about painting. I’ve been feeling very stuck recently and this has opened my eyes to being more loose and fearless. I’ve even signed up for another class with the same teacher. The atmosphere was great, good vibes. I learnt so much!!

What a lovely evening painting with Fanny. It was so relaxed and Fanny was great at directing you on how to look at and paint abstractly. Would definitely recommend this workshop to do. Great on your own or with friends in a totally relaxed environment.

Fanny is charming, clear and knowledgeable with a warm energy and kind approach. We started with some simple exercises to encourage expression and then moved on to the main canvas with a range of implements to use. Fanny guided and encouraged and it was helpful to be able to reference her paintings and different approaches. The time flashed by and we came away from a with pieces that brought joy. A really fun experience. Would strongly recommend. Great to do with friends.

I really enjoyed this abstract art class. The group was small, which made it feel relaxed and personal, and the teacher was fantastic. She shared really helpful tips and explained techniques clearly, and I learned a lot in just one session. It was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone interested in exploring abstract art.

So enjoyed my workshop with Fanny Roche today. The studio provided a wonderful space in which to experiment and take risks. There is a very generous offering of materials and it is thrilling to go home with a canvas. Free enough to give individual expression but Fanny provided support and great ideas at just the right time. I wasn't even really in the right head space when I arrived, but I was kindly welcomed and made to feel very relaxed. Supported in making a lot of new discoveries and have had my enthusiasm for painting recharged.
Really recommend as a very special and enriching experience.
Thank you!

Fanny was great! She had set up the space for us and prepared a warm up painting brief, she was very helpful giving us direction and showing us how abstract painting should feel. The experience was relaxing, very enjoyable and felt super rewarding. Thank you for making us feel so relaxed!

Absolutely loved the abstract art class with Fanny! She has such a unique gift for inspiring ideas and teaching practical techniques, all without ever pushing her own vision onto you. What a perfect way to unwind and enjoy a fun Friday evening. The small class size was ideal, allowing for personalised attention. Plus, the thoughtful touch of teas, coffees, and chocolates made the whole experience even more delightful. Highly recommend

I highly recommend this class! Fanny was friendly, encouraging and inspiring. She went through different techniques. She then encouraged us to get out of heads and experiment. Fanny answered any questions we had about abstract painting, and was open about her own process.

Wimbledon Arts studio is such a hidden treasure in SW. Fanny led a small class teaching us the freedom of abstract art. She is warm, kind and inspired us without controlling. Really fun class to experiment with different techniques and have fun. 10/10

I had an absolutely lovely time at this workshop. Fanny guided us beautifully whilst inviting us to be curious and letting us each flow with our own process. It was a great space to learn about abstract art, express myself and connect with others. I also felt so happy to have a very personal painting to take home!

Fanny was incredibly welcoming and relaxed. She took us through mark-making exercises and paint techniques to work towards our abstract painting on canvas. She provided loads of interesting materials to work with and was really knowledgeable about her craft. Great to have the time to paint in a proper studio and meet new people too. Aprons provided which is good as I got my hands super messy!

Just wonderful. Fanny was very helpful and generous with her time, part guiding me on techniques and tools, and part letting me run with it and see what happened. It was great to paint freely and learn to let go. She made it a lot of fun. If it was available (affordable) as a regular drop in class I'd sign up.
