Soils and Repotting Houseplants Workshop
My partner and I attended Susie's Soil and Repotting Houseplants workshop and it was genuinely excellent. Susie has such a wealth of incredible knowledge and shared so much useful information with us. We felt all of our questions were well answered and the workshop was really fun. It was also excellent value for money given Susie's level of experience and the knowledge shared. We would highly recommend.

Some gifts create memories as much as objects, and this was definitely one of them.My kids Alison and Euan gifted me a terrarium-building experience at Window Sill in Market Harborough, and Euan joined me for the session this week. It was such a joyful evening activity.Susie has created something really special - a beautiful plant-filled space where you immediately feel welcome and comfortable. The workshop was hands-on, relaxed and fun, with just the right amount of expert guidance. We learned plenty without ever feeling like we were sitting in a lesson.Everything felt generous: the time, the materials, the encouragement and the knowledge shared. We left with gorgeous terrariums and a genuinely lovely memory together.I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone — whether for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone you love. Wow what can I say - we had such a brilliant afternoon with Susie!! We decided to book a terrarium workshop for a small hen do and we couldn't have picked a better activity for our plant loving bride! Susie was incredibly accommodating and made the afternoon informative, creative and fun. Perfect for beginners and those more advanced - even the sceptics in the group had a blast! The finished product we all got to take home is honestly stunning! Its lovely to have something so beautiful in the house to remember the day. Thanks again Susie!

Susie is very knowledgeable and I left feeling more confident taking care of my houseplants, and have now moved them to their optimal positions in my home, based on the best light for their types. I may even take a leap and get a few more plants now they have a good chance at survival. The workshop space is lovely, bright and cheerful, filled with plants of all shapes and sizes. I had a wonderful time at the terrarium workshop. It was the perfect balance of creativity and learning (how to become green fingered!). I came away feeling confident in how to look after my plants and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calming activity or just doing something a bit different at the weekend.

Loved the house plant session. Really fun & relaxed atmosphere with lovely people. Learnt loads about the dos and don’ts of plant care. When sharing photos of our own plants and gaining advice, it was like a therapy session. Would definitely do another class here.

I booked this workshop as a birthday treat for my daughter-in-law. Bargello was a new craft for both of us and we had a great time. Caroline is a lovely and patient tutor and the venue was a relaxing and calm place to be. I really enjoyed learning about this technique and love my finished decoration. Thank you.

What a fabulous workshop! I really enjoyed getting my hands dirty and learning this new technique. Susie was a great tutor and was on hand to offer advice and encouragement and everyone left with a wonderful plant. This terrarium workshop is the perfect gift for any occasion! Susie was a fantastic teacher and taught us the entire process of making a terrarium. She gave plenty of advice, and helped along each step of the way. The class is done in the middle of her plant-shop, which is just the perfect environment as you are surrounded by amazing plants. With the terrarium, you have so much freedom to be creative and personalise your ecosystem. A fantastic class for adults of any age!

It Was very interesting the breakdown of different houseplant soils for each type of plant. How to repot was useful and the practical demonstration was helpful. Susie explained this very well. Some paper notes might be useful for any future classes. Lovely Lady Lovely shop. An enjoyable evening.

An excellent workshop, highlighted the importance of good soil and there are a number of ways we'll be able to improve our houseplants health and longevity. I now feel fully armed with the knowledge to give them their best chance of survival, as well as having an idea of how some of my outdoor gardening could also be improved, would thoroughly recommend!

Absolute joy to sit in the blissful surroundings of Susie’s wonderful house plant haven which I came across whilst on holiday. Who knew the components of compost could be so fascinating?! Susie is so generous with her vast knowledge and her wonderful style made the course very relaxed. Day one of being back at home and I’ve already repotted half my house plants in the correct soil! Just loved the course and would highly recommend.

The booking process was extremely easy and the class was so much fun. I went with my husband and it was a really lovely way to spend some time together. Great value for money and Susie is brilliant. very knowledgeable and passionate. The group was small enough for Susie to get around everyone and provide a helping hand. Very informal and relaxing. The shop is the perfect setting too. I will definitely be back to buy more house plants and get some much needed advice.

Had a brilliant evening learning a about houseplant care with Susie - loads of great information with a real focus on worked examples of a large variety of houseplants. We came away inspired to find the best spots for the right plants, and armed with much better knowledge of how to care for them once there. Very friendly jovial atmosphere, would thoroughly recommend and we're already booked in for one of her other courses!

What a wonderful workshop!! I had wanted to try this craft for a while but didn’t know where to start. This was a perfect introduction. Caroline was a great tutor. Her instructions were clear and easy to understand and she was full of useful hints and tips. Her enthusiasm for her craft was contagious. The venue was bright and had a very friendly atmosphere. We had a relaxed and joyful evening and left feeling very happy with our creations. Thank you.
