As a follow up to a previous workshop I booked this to understand some specific tasks I wanted to do but wasn’t sure about. The staff member was really friendly and enthusiastic and answered all my questions.

There was no opportunity to have a go at the sewing this time, maybe because the machine chosen wasn’t an equivalent to the one I have.

Being in the middle of the shop upstairs rather than in a quieter non public area wasn’t the best. I felt I learnt more and had the opportunity to practice and understand better (sometimes it’s through the doing you encounter the problems etc) in the previous session in Gateshead. This felt a bit more like a chat which I probably could have had on a quiet day rather than taking up a slot which are perhaps aimed more for first timers just the once.

Regardless of the above, the staff members enthusiasm inspired me to give my project a go back at home, with mixed results!

Fantastic patient tutor who had clearly read and responded to what I said I wanted to cover. Everything was ready for me, nice set up and everything explained really well. Highly recommend. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try it out back at home.
