- 1.5 litres filtered or bottled water.
- 1 kombucha scoby.
- 150 ml starter liquid (usually the culture comes in a liquid - do not discard it!).
- 100 g unrefined cane sugar (preferably organic).
- 1 green tea bag (preferably organic).
- 1 black tea bag (preferably organic).
- 2 litre glass jar (can be reused).
- 1 rubber band.
- 1 clean cotton kitchen towel (or other tightly woven piece of cloth to cover the mouth of the jar).
- Set of glass bottles with lids (can be reused with swing tops or screw tops).
- Any fruit, herbs, spices for flavouring the secondary fermentation.
After the first session, the next session is: Part 1 - 15 May 2 hour, Part 2 - 22 May 1 hour
