5 Step Skirt Sewing Workshop

Learn how to make an elegant skirt in five steps from scratch. Guided by expert instructors at our London studio, you'll start by measuring and understanding pattern cutting before mastering key techniques such as cutting, stitching, and finishing. By the end of the class, you’ll have created a bespoke skirt to take home and show off with pride.

Don't worry if you're a beginner – this workshop is designed to be welcoming and encouraging for all levels of sewing experience. You'll have a range of lace and ribbons to choose from to embellish your skirt and spare tools & accessories.

Schedule: The class is split over 2 consecutive days - each class is 2.5 hours long

• Machine loan (£7)
• Curated sewing kit (£45)

You can add these when you book (optional).
 
Beginner-friendly class. You need to know how to thread and use your sewing machine.
 

• Guidance from experienced instructors
• Three months of continued email support
• Lace, ribbons and buttons to use
• Access to extra threads, needles, and tools

• Fabric to make the skirt. We will send detailed instructions of what & what not to bring.
• Your sewing machine and power cable (unless you opt to borrow one from us for a fee).
• The sewing machine manual and any accompanying accessories.
• A bobbin and bobbin case, if required.
• Sewing threads in matching colours.
• A complete sewing kit (available for purchase if needed).
• A notepad and pen for notes.

Note: Ensure your sewing machine has been recently serviced and fully functional.
