I booked this workshop knowing it was primarily for beginners, over the years I've done a lot of sewing as a self taught DIYer and making storage bags for tools and camping/hiking equipment. Having bought a new machine to do some curtains and turn up trousers I decided to see if I could get a few tips from this 'basic workshop' and I'm pleased to say that I've come away with some useful info and many thanks to my instructor for a pleasant hour

The instructor was friendly and helpful going through the very basics of getting the machine threaded and ready for use, then demonstrated basic sewing and allowing us to have a go. I already had most of this knowledge but still enjoyed and picked up the odd tip or 2.
