Throughout the year, Hobbycraft host a variety of workshops in stores and online, designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. Whether you want to enjoy crafting from the comfort of your own home or you’re looking to meet new people as you get making, these craft workshops offer something for everyone.

Most of our workshops are led by colleagues from Hobbycraft stores across the UK, including craft experts from our Hobbycraft Artisan programme. They use their expertise in specific areas of craft to create workshops that show participants new skills and inspire future projects.

Really enjoyable class! As a complete beginner was proud to walk away with a small creation and a repertoire of 3 different stitches. Only 4 of us so nice and friendly and the Teacher Rachel could give us individual support when needed. All materials were supplied and nice to take home to keep practising!

We attended the beginners crochet class. We were provided with wool and a crochet hook. Rachel explained each stage in detail and made it very easy to learn the techniques.
The room was welcoming and clean.
The class is great value for money and would recommend to anyone to give it a try to learn a new skill.

I booked on to learn a new hobby. Rachel was very friendly and informative and let us run at our own pace, whilst helping us individually. I really enjoyed learning how to crochet and would definitely recommend this workshop :-)

I don't want to sound negative, but the workshop wasn't really as advertised. I thought the children were going to be taught the steps to make their animals. Instead they were handed some clay and simply told to make whatever they liked. That worked for us and the children enjoyed it, so I can't complain really! It just would have been disappointing for anyone wanting some instruction. The workshop leader was really nice and had a fairly good raport with the children. She didn't know however that red and blue makes purple which was a bit of a shock to me! Doesn't everyone know that? The children certainly did! She also didn't know the price of the packets of clay, which seemed fairly basic and an obvious thing to know to make a sale.

I took my granddaughter Aurora during half-term. She made 3 bracelets, for me her mummy and herself and she had such a good time!
She said "Grandma, I love Hobbycraft, can we come here again"
The teacher was brilliant, allowing the participants to choose their own designs, but was available if needed.
