What you'll do
In this engaging print-making class, you'll learn how to create stunning botanical prints with Printmaker Steph Renshaw. Using leaves and flowers as your inspiration, Steph will guide you in capturing intricate details and beautiful forms, resulting in a collection of gorgeous prints to take home as a souvenir of your creative exploration.
Don't worry if you're new to printmaking or lack drawing skills – this workshop is designed for beginners, and Steph will lead you through each step with ease. Using a mini printing press, you'll be amazed at the level of detail you can achieve from the plants themselves.
During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to create prints directly from leaves and flowers.
Working with the tactile materials and witnessing your creations come to life may evoke a sense of joy and satisfaction. By the end of the workshop, you'll have not only learned a new skill but also have a unique collection of botanical prints to adorn your living space.
PLEASE NOTE:
This workshop will be taught at the fabulous new Creative Space in Staple Hill rather than at Bristol Print Room.

This workshop is open to complete beginners. No previous experience necessary.
What you'll get
You will be guided through the process step by step and given tips for getting the most from your prints. You will be able to take home the prints you make.
What to bring
You don't need to bring anything with you for this workshop. Everything you need will be here. You are very welcome to bring along your own pressed leaves and flowers to see if they are suitable to print from.Please wear old clothes that you don't mind getting inky.
